The Triangle
/ Eastern NC Chapter presents the Hope Gala each year to raise funds
for type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. The event honors families affected
by T1D, our top corporate sponsors and our very generous friends. The
Hope Gala Living & Giving Awards recognize outstanding community
leaders who have distinguished themselves not only in their professional
careers but in their tenacious efforts to help cure type 1 diabetes.
Through the dedication and immense energy of our wonderful volunteers,
the Hope Gala has grown from its humble beginnings into one of the
Triangle’s most prestigious charity events – surpassing $5
million since its inaugural year.
